Prohive Super fiber

PHGG is a natural, galactomannan-based soluble dietary fiber made from enzymatically hydrolyzed guar gum. It is a soluble, transparent and tasteless dietary fiber. It is low in viscosity, stable at various pH levels, and is resistant to heat, acid and digestive enzymes.

Alleviates occasional constipation and diarrhoea

Improves stool consistency and regularity of bowel movements

Relieves symptoms of IBS

PHGG relieved symptoms in constipation-predominant and diarrhea-predominant forms of IBS and improved the quality of life

A prebiotic fiber

Increases the concentration of bifidobacterium and lactobacilli species and increases short-chain fatty acids in the colonic lumen

Supports FODMAP* Diet

A suitable dietary fiber for FODMAPs

Reduces Laxative dependence

Mildly boosts bowel frequency, fecal moisture, and the presence of Lactobacilli species

Supports SIBO treatment

***A 2010 clinical trial demonstrated that when PHGG was recommended alongside rifaximin, SIBO eradication outcomes were even better than just rifaximin alone

Helps to reduce postprandial blood sugar spikes

Since it can decrease postprandial blood glucose by lowering the rate of absorption from the small intestine, by reducing the diffusion of glucose in the lumen.

Enhances satiety after Light meals

Supports healthy transit time of food and wastes through the colon and stimulates satiety hormone cholecystokinin

Helps to lower serum cholesterol

Reduced absorption of bile acids, forcing the body to convert more cholesterol into bile acids – reducing cholesterol formation, as well as uptake of LDLs.

Modifies GI value

PHGG decreases the glycemic index of foods

Neutral in taste and aroma

Can be used with any food and beverages.

PHGG is certified as FODMAP-safe

By MONASH University Australia, the creators of the FODMAP diet.
